A Customized Emergency Power Generator Delivered to NCC’s New Fredriksberg Office Disctrict

NCC is creating a creative and trendy new block in Vallila, Helsinki: Fredriksberg. Fredriksberg consists of four interconnected office buildings that are being constructed in phases. Buildings A, B, and C of the block have already been completed. In May 2022, we were able to deliver an emergency power source for the D building, which will be completed by that time.

The 900 kVA machine we delivered has been customized to meet the customer’s specific needs, with a particular focus on noise and its attenuation. Another unique feature of the equipment is its air-to-water and water-to-water heat exchangers instead of traditional radiators. The liquid cooler is located on the roof of the building.

Delivery of the machine required a precise schedule since the machine was installed in such a way that the rest of the building was essentially constructed around it. Therefore, construction could not proceed until the emergency power generator had been delivered and installed in place.
