3000 Series™ automatic transmissions

The 3000 Series™ is designed to make medium and heavy-duty vehicles more fuel efficient and easier to operate. They are engineered to meet the demands of various applications including distribution, refuse, utility services, fire and emergency, transit buses and more.

Flexible Power Ratings

3000 Series™ transmissions can accommodate engines with power ratings ranging from 210 to 450 horsepower (157-336 kW) and torque capacities up to 1,250 lb-ft (1,695 N·m). These transmissions can support a GVW of 98,100 lbs. (44,500 kg).

Gear Ratios Optimized for Performance

3000 Series™ transmissions offer six forward gears, providing a wide range of gear ratios that optimize vehicle performance and overall drivability.

An uprated variant of the proven 3000 Series™, the 3414 Regional Haul Series™ can accommodate engines with power ratings up to 410 hp (306 kW) and has torque capabilities up to 1,450 lb-ft. (1,966 N·m). The increased horsepower offers up to 8% fuel economy improvement and 25% faster acceleration from 0-20 mph when compared to competitive automated manual transmissions.
