Machinery Oy is the new representative of Sany excavators in Finland

Machinery Oy has entered into an agency agreement with SANY Group for the sale of Sany excavators and, in the future, wheel loaders, as well as spare parts and maintenance services. The representation supports Machinery’s existing range of earthmoving products and services and strengthens Machinery’s growth strategy. The SANY Group also includes, e.g., Putzmeister, the market leader in concrete processing equipment. Putzmeister is represented by Tornokone Oy, which is part of Machinery. The conclusion of an agency agreement and the expansion of the product range is, therefore, a natural step towards being an increasingly strong industrial player.

Chinese SANY has been developing and manufacturing high-quality construction and port machinery for over 30 years. In most excavators, Sany utilizes Cummins engines. Machinery has been Cummins’ official importer in Finland since the 1960s, so in addition to Machinery, Cummins is also pleased with the agency agreement. SANY Group is one of the largest manufacturers of this type of machines in the world. Together with SANY’s products and Machinery’s diesel engine expertise, Machinery will only be able to serve its customers better and more extensively in the future.

SANY Excavators

Machinery will start importing and selling SANY excavators throughout Finland from May 2020. SANY is the world’s fifth-largest manufacturer of earthmoving machinery and is investing heavily in increasing sales in Europe, product development, and expanding its dealer network. SANY’s European market is headquartered in Bedburg, Germany.

Machinery has appointed Vesa Terhivaara, Head of the Unit, with strong decades of experience in the field, for the new civil engineering business. “Let’s mean business in building something new, but let us not lose sleep over it,” says Vesa Terhivaara about his new job description, continuing:

“Sany’s excavators of various sizes will be visible mainly at the Vantaa office and will certainly soon also be used to an increasing extent on construction sites by contractors.”  The first machines have already arrived at the Vantaa office in Ansatie.
